The Eyes of the World
2021
Documentary Series

We’re not arguing over whether climate change is real or not anymore. 184 countries have all agreed that it is very much a threat to our life on Earth. Those countries have been coming together for twenty six years...twenty six years and yet our planet is still warming faster and faster.
The 2021 Climate Conference, COP26, marks one of the most important moments in history for countries to figure out how they will reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero. It has been 6 years since the 2015 Paris Agreement, and the majority of countries have failed to come through on their promises. As leaders around the world; politicians, scientists, activists--prepare for new negotiations at COP26, the stakes are incredibly high. Many of these leaders have seen destruction from sea level rise, wildfires, drought, and flooding at their doorsteps.
This documentary goes behind the scenes of this massive stage, and expose all of the tension and triumph as world leaders struggle to agree on what to do next. An intimate look at their emotions as they realize the gravity of their 2021 decisions.
